ACATIS consolidates its technological leadership in the field of artificial intelligence

Frankfurt am Main/ Lugano, October 2, 2025

ACATIS Investment KVG, a pioneer in AI-supported portfolio management, today announced the complete acquisition of AI research company NNAISENSE, based in Lugano, Switzerland. This strategic move is the result of a successful partnership spanning more than ten years and consolidates ACATIS' technological leadership in the field of artificial intelligence.

Through this acquisition, ACATIS has secured exclusive access to, and development rights for, NNAISENSE's Large Investing Model (LIM), which is based on a new generation of generative AI technology developed by AI pioneer Alex Graves (formerly of DeepMind) and NNAISENSE. This technology is particularly promising for use in the financial sector.

The acquisition will enable both companies to fully exploit their synergies. NNAISENSE will continue its research and development as part of the ACATIS Group and focus on further developing the Large Investing Model (LIM) exclusively for ACATIS and its portfolio management. This new model is intended to complement the existing AI systems already successfully deployed at ACATIS and significantly expand the company's technological expertise.

NNAISENSE's headquarters and research facility will remain in Lugano to ensure continuity and maintain the innovative environment.

“The acquisition of NNAISENSE is a logical and transformative step for us,” says Dr. Hendrik Leber, founder and managing director of ACATIS. “After more than a decade of fruitful collaboration, we are now joining forces to ignite the next stage of AI-powered investing. With NNAISENSE's Large Investing Model in-house, we have a unique asset to continue delivering superior results for our investors in the future.”

“Becoming part of the ACATIS-Group opens up fantastic opportunities for us,” adds Faustino Gomez, CEO of NNAISENSE. “Our fundamental AI research can now be directly applied to portfolio management. We share ACATIS's vision and look forward to working together to push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in finance.”
